North Point’s Latest Grant to Help With Our Technology Goals
February 3, 2020
Thanks to a recent $100,000 grant from North Point Ministries, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is taking a huge step towards technology expansion and system integration that will increase connectivity to homeowners and other stakeholders.
Through its Be Rich Campaign, the faith-based organization annually awards donated funds to influential nonprofits who have a strong record of service, leadership and financial health. This marks the seventh year that Atlanta Habitat has been named a Be Rich Campaign recipient.
“Atlanta Habitat is grateful for the continued support from North Point Ministries. Their generosity allows us to strategically improve and expand upon our mission to elevate families and empower neighborhoods,” says Atlanta Habitat President/CEO Lisa Y. Gordon.
Previous gifts were used to financially empower Atlanta Habitat’s Repair with Kindness program – which helps qualified homeowners in Atlanta and South Fulton County with critical home repairs— and the implementation of a customer relationship-management service system. North Point’s latest gift will help Atlanta Habitat upgrade this operational system by adding software applications (app) to connect with homeowners and stakeholders through data.
By funding special projects, including sponsoring an annual neighborhood clean-up, North Point has invested more than $500,000 in Atlanta Habitat since 2013. The Be Rich Campaign was established in 2007 and has since raised over $50 million in donations for nonprofit organizations worldwide.
