Join our vibrant ReStore community keeping our locations running smoothly through customer-facing service, behind-the-scenes testing and processing, or on-the-go assistance unloading donations and merchandise.
How You Can Help
Help us keep the Atlanta and South Fulton ReStores running smoothly! In our home improvement paradise, you’ll find a variety of ways to help:
- Work with people and products in sales floor support
- Help with quality control in product testing
- Get physical loading and unloading donations
Available Positions:
- Sales Floor Support: Provide helpful customer service and act as an ambassador for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity’s mission
- Merchandising: Help maintain a dynamic sales floor through creative and engaging displays
- Loading Dock & Warehouse Support: Carefully unload donations on the loading dock and heavy purchases into customer vehicles
- Tinkerer: Test, clean, assess, and prepare incoming donations to hit the sales floor
Volunteer as an Individual
To get started as a ReStore Volunteer, view our virtual ReStore orientation, then complete our online questionnaire. The orientation will provide you with an overview of the ReStore’s impact on Atlanta Habitat for Humanity’s mission, the volunteer program itself, and how to sign up in under 15 minutes!
Community Service
If you are applying for court-ordered community service hours, you must complete a Community Service Volunteer Application and be approved for volunteer service by Atlanta Habitat prior to volunteering. Community Service volunteer slots are limited and available only at the Atlanta ReStore.
Volunteer as a Group
The ReStore is a great way to engage a small group of up to 5 volunteers interested in supporting Atlanta Habitat’s mission.
The Atlanta ReStore can accommodate groups of up to 5 people for a half-day or full-day shift.
We are not able to accommodate more than one group per day at this time.
