The House We Built From Home: Support Atlanta Habitat’s First Virtual Build

Dear Friend of Atlanta Habitat,

Our volunteers remain an essential part of the work Atlanta Habitat does with families and communities. While the pandemic has kept us apart, it has not changed their heart to serve the mission. They’ve volunteered virtually; now, let’s build virtually.

In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Atlanta Habitat is launching our first volunteer virtual build: The House We Built From Home! Instead of lifting our hammers, we invite you to help us raise the money to build a home for a family.

Each Atlanta Habitat build engages over 320 volunteers over eight build days, saving the organization $250 per volunteer. By agreeing to fundraise only $250 to cover the cost of your labor for one house-build, our most dedicated volunteers will generate the amount it costs to build a home ($80,000). With your generosity, we could raise the walls by this summer and the family will be in their new, affordable home by the end of the year!
