Atlanta Habitat will host an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow
June 12, 2018
Applications accepted through July 15
Atlanta Habitat for Humanity will welcome an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow, an emerging architect in community design, to the organization for a two-year fellowship beginning January 2019. Atlanta Habitat for Humanity was selected from a pool of leading community development organizations committed to making positive change in their communities, through neighborhood revitalization, education, innovative development and partnerships.
The Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellowship, an initiative of Enterprise Community Partners Inc., partners early-career architectural designers with local community development organizations, where they facilitate an inclusive approach to development to create green, sustainable, and affordable communities. As an integral staff member of the organization, the fellow will focus on advancing the organization’s practices in community engagement, sustainability and design excellence.
“Atlanta Habitat has created affordable homes for so many families in Atlanta, and Enterprise is excited to support their continued growth. By placing a Rose Fellow with them, we are ensuring their continued leadership and innovation in design and sustainability as they plan and implement their newest developments,” says Meaghan Shannon Vlkovic, Vice President & Market Leader Southeast-Enterprise Community Partners.
Rose Fellows also gain a national network of colleagues who share their passion for public interest architecture and community development.
“We are expanding our design and housing types for intergenerational needs within Atlanta Habitat’s existing structure. The Rose Fellow will be critical in helping us to develop new and innovative home designs that create healthy living spaces for our existing and aging population,” says Lisa Y. Gordon, President/CEO of Atlanta Habitat.
The Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellowship is actively seeking exceptional candidates through July 15, 2018. To apply: https://www.enterprisecommunity.org/solutions-and- innovation/design-leadership/rose-architectural-fellowship/become-a-fellow
