Atlanta Habitat recruits volunteers to join Clark Howard for his 25th year of building
December 26, 2017
Three houses over seven weeks, starting January 2018
ATLANTA—Atlanta Habitat for Humanity has volunteer opportunities to build with its most popular volunteer, broadcast host Clark Howard, during his 25th year of building with the city’s largest nonprofit homebuilder.
Volunteers will join Team Clark Howard to work alongside three first-time homebuyers to build their houses in Atlanta’s Orchard Knob neighborhood. The construction starts January 18, and then continues for eight build days over seven weeks through March 3, 2018. Registration is open at www.clarkhoward.atlantahabitat.volunteerhub.com.
For 25 years, Clark Howard and hundreds of volunteers annually have built at least two houses with Atlanta Habitat, thus helping 61 families in Atlanta achieve the milestone of homeownership. MailChimp and Coupon Mom will partner with Team Clark Howard again to kick off Atlanta Habitat’s first build of 2018.
