Atlanta Habitat friends, fans and shoppers celebrated the grand opening of the Atlanta Habitat ReStore in South Fulton on August 12. It was part block party and part community shopping spree to commemorate the organizations and partners who helped us launch our largest expansion in the organization’s 38-year history.
The new ReStore & Service Center is at 5626 Old National Highway, South Fulton. The 30,000 square-foot facility is our new hub for community engagement in South Fulton County. In addition to its first-time homebuyer program for income-qualified families, Atlanta Habitat will offer critical home repairs, financial literacy programs, ongoing education programs, scholarships and entrepreneurial training and grants. We are on track to serve nearly 1,200 new families from now through 2025. We will focus on neighborhoods in East Point, Fairburn and South Fulton and Atlanta.
