He is among metro Atlanta’s top civic and business leaders committed to building community

ATLANTA – May 5, 2023 – Atlanta Habitat for Humanity announces Alan Ferguson, President and Chief Executive Officer, has been selected for the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2024. Leadership Atlanta is a prestigious nine-month program that brings together top leaders from diverse backgrounds who share a common desire to move Atlanta forward by exploring solutions for the city’s important issues. Ferguson’s appointment is a testament to his leadership, community service and commitment to making a positive impact.

“I’m honored to be a part of this year’s Leadership Atlanta class,” said Ferguson. “I look forward to learning from and working alongside this extraordinary group of people who inspire positive changes for our city.”

A native of Atlanta, Ferguson attended DeKalb County Schools and graduated from Morehouse College.

Ferguson joined Atlanta Habitat as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2022, and his leadership will continue to advance the organization’s mission to help more families break poverty cycles through homeownership.

The organization has been transforming generations by making home ownership possible for working families for the past 40 years.
